Hard to reach feet, or nails too tough to trim?
If you have trouble taking care of your feet, we can do this for you!
General care includes trimming and dealing with unruly toenails and removing hard dead skin (corns and callus).
Whether it is a one off ingrown nail or if it needs regular attention we've got you covered. With the right equipment and experience, we pride ourselves on the gentle removal of the offending portion of nail.
(We can also administer local aneasthetic if needed.)
People with diabetes are recommended to have a full neurovascular assessment at least once a year. This may increase if you are found to be at a higher risk of complications.
We complete a thorough assessment of your circulation, sensation, general foot structure, skin and nail condition and also review your footwear.
With your permission a report outlining the results is forwarded to your GP.
A recommendation is then made as to whether you require any regular ongoing care.
Podiatrist's are the specialist's of the feet.
If you are having pain in your feet and legs, let us work out what is causing the pain and build a plan to get you going again. Some people simply need footwear changes, others may need exercises and stretches, whilst others may need an insert in their shoe (or in a lot of cases - all of the above!)
There are so many different types of shoes. Everyone has different needs, let an expert guide you on what is appropriate for your feet and needs at the moment and also within your budget!
Orthotics are devices that are put into your shoes to help balance your feet and alignment. They are used throughout all stages of life, from young ones just starting to walk through to the elderly.
Our podiatrist can give an honest opinion on whether orthotics are needed. If so, we can provide you with all the services needed for a custom pair of orthotics to be made or provide you with suitable off the shelf devices.
